Audience check
before a brand runs one.

Brands check for bought followers and fake engagement before they book. We run the same kind of checks on your connected accounts first, show you what we found and what to fix, and put a verified audience line on your media kit when the result earns it.

What's included

What we look at.

The signals a brand's own tools look for, read from your connected accounts on each platform.

Sudden follower jumps

A day's growth far above your usual pace. A viral post explains a jump; a jump with no post behind it usually means bought followers.

Sudden follower drops

A sharp fall is what it looks like when a platform purges fake accounts, and a brand reading your history will see it too.

Engagement for your size

Likes, comments and shares against what accounts your size typically get on that platform. Very low engagement is the classic sign of an inflated count.

Views per subscriber

On YouTube, how many of your subscribers actually watch a typical video. Subscribers who never watch don't help you or a sponsor.

Where your audience lives

The share of your audience in the country you're based in. Brands selling in your market want followers there, not mostly abroad.

Comments against likes

Real audiences leave a few comments per hundred likes. Almost none suggests bought likes; far too many can mean comment pods or bots.

The routine

How it runs.

Runs on its own once your accounts are connected.

  1. Connect your accounts

Through each platform's official sign-in. We start keeping a daily record of your followers from that day.

  2. History builds up

Growth can't be judged from one day. After about a week of daily history the follower checks have enough to say something.

  3. You see the result

Each signal marked fine, worth a look or a problem, with the actual numbers behind it and what usually causes it.

  4. Your kit is updated

A strong combined score adds a verified audience line to your media kit. Flags never appear there.

In detail

How this actually works.

The parts of audience check that matter once you are inside it.

Why run the check a brand will run anyway

Before a brand books a creator, someone on its side runs her account through a tool that looks for bought followers and fake engagement. If something looks off, you rarely hear why. The offer just goes quiet, or comes back lower.

We'd rather you knew first. The same kinds of signals are checked on your connected accounts, the results come to you privately, and the conversation about anything odd happens with your team rather than in a negotiation.

Each signal explained, with your numbers

A flag that just says "suspicious" is useless. Each result says what was checked, what your number is, and what's normal. Your engagement is shown next to what accounts your size typically get on that platform; your comments are shown per hundred likes against the range real audiences leave; your follower history shows the days that stood out.

Most of the time there's an innocent explanation, a post that went viral, a collab, a platform purge of accounts you never bought. When that's the case, you and your team know the story before a brand asks.

A score, and what the public sees

The signals roll up into a score out of 100 for each connected account, and a combined score weighted by the size of each platform. When the combined score is strong, your media kit carries a verified audience line with that score on it.

Only the positive line is ever public. A flag, a warning or a weak signal is shown to you and your team and never to a brand. If the score isn't high enough for the line, the kit simply doesn't have one.

If something needs fixing

Some things fix themselves: a platform purge settles, a viral month evens out. Some need a hand: an old giveaway that brought in followers from the wrong country, or an engagement group you joined years ago. Your team will tell you which is which.

Because the checks keep running on your daily history, a fix shows up in the result over the following weeks, and so does your verified line when it's earned.

For brands

Want creators you can trust?

Every creator we represent has been through these checks on every platform they use. Where the score earns it, their media kit says so.

Follower history, engagement for their size, audience location and comments to likes.

From the platforms

Read from each creator's connected accounts, not from public scraping.

Questions

Before you ask.

What creators ask about the audience check.

Will brands see my flags?

No. Flags, warnings and weak signals are shown to you and your team only. The only thing that can appear publicly is a positive verified audience line on your media kit, and only when your score earns it.

I went viral once. Will that count against me?

A viral post explains a jump in followers, and your team can see the post behind it. What the check looks for is growth with no post behind it, which is what bought followers look like.

Why does audience location matter?

Because brands buy reach in the markets they sell in. If you're based in one country and most of your audience is somewhere else, a brand selling in your country will notice. It's worth knowing, and sometimes worth fixing.

How long before I get a result?

Engagement, location and comment checks work as soon as your accounts are connected and have enough recent posts. Follower growth needs about a week of daily history before it can say anything.

What if I did buy followers once?

Tell your team. It's more common than people admit, and a brand finding it on its own is worse than you dealing with it first. We'll look at the numbers with you and work out what to do.
